ChairFairy ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ChairFairy platform, which helps event hosts manage seating and send invitations to guests. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
We collect information that hosts provide when creating events, including guest names, email addresses, and phone numbers. We also collect account information (name, email) when hosts sign up.
ChairFairy sends SMS event updates only to guests who have explicitly opted in. Guests provide their own mobile phone number and check a consent box during the RSVP flow or in their ChairFairy account profile. SMS is never sent based solely on a phone number entered by an event host.
By opting in, you agree to receive SMS messages from ChairFairy on behalf of the event host. Message frequency varies by event, typically 1–3 messages per event (invitation confirmation, reminders, and follow-up). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. You may also update your SMS preferences in your ChairFairy profile.
No mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (such as email and SMS delivery services) and as required by law. We retain event and guest data for as long as the host's account is active, or as needed to provide services. Hosts may delete their events and guest data at any time.
